Managing leave and attendance is a two-pronged function in leading personnel: on one hand, HR tracks employees’ productivity and time worked; on the other hand, HR is most aware of their time off for a variety of reasons. With the plethora of complexities in leave policies and types of leave, shift work and scheduling, carryover, and of course employee health and wellbeing, this can be a tricky area for HR to manoeuvre, which brings to light the importance of tools, platforms, and solutions designed to support HR. The Leave and Attendance Management category of the HR Ecosystem Awards will identify the most effective and scalable services out there that aid HR in this crucial function.
Entries will be evaluated based on their proficiency in providing an efficient system for leave and attendance management, including automation of processes and lightening the load of manual administrative tasks for HR. In addition, judges will look into the entries’ ability to provide self-service features for employees, essentially streamlining the process of requesting for leave and accessing attendance records with integrated monitoring, reporting, and analytics. In the end, we will have finalists and a grand winner besting all others in the area of managing and maximising leave and attendance to help employees achieve work-life balance while contributing to organisational objectives.
Key Assessment Criteria:
Judges evaluating the finalists and selecting the ultimate winners will focus on two key criteria that define excellence in leave and attendance management:
- Criteria #1 – Efficient Leave and Attendance Tracking: The partner or solution’s proficiency in providing an efficient system for leave and attendance management, automating processes and reducing manual administrative burdens.
- Criteria #2 (Optional) – Self-Service Options: The partner or solution’s ability to offer self-service features for employees to manage their leave requests and attendance records easily.
